Stanford Sierra Conference Center (Lodging, Meals, and Accessibility)

To see the conference center map and lodging layouts, please visit:

We are unable to accommodate guests (friends/family, partners, spouses, children) during this retreat. This is a small, intimate, members-only retreat.

We are not currently offering registration without lodging. If space allows closer to the event, we will open registration to members not requiring lodging.

The cost of lodging includes:

• Two nights’ lodging

• All taxes and resort fees

• All meals beginning with dinner on Friday and ending with lunch on Sunday (Meals are buffet style and vegetarian, gluten free and vegan options will be available.)

• Coffee and snacks twice a day

• Full access to recreational activities: tennis, volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, ping pong, rowboats, sailboats, and kayaks (weather permitting)

• A limited number of accessible units (Please select the “accessible” option when you choose your lodging.)

• Free WiFi

The cost of lodging does NOT include:

• The R & R retreat programming cost of $100 per attendee

• The $50 optional add-on cost for round tables

Lodging Types, Roommates, and Prices: prices listed are lodging ONLY

These prices are determined by the Stanford Sierra Conference Center. They do not include the R & R retreat programming cost of $100 per attendee or the optional add-on cost for round tables. These broken down costs are provided to help you select an option that works for your budget and needs. Check-in time begins at 3:00 pm on Friday unless your room happens to be ready early. Check-out is at 10:00 am, but the retreat officially ends after lunch on Sunday, at 1:00 pm. Registered members wishing to arrive one day early for additional creative time may add on Thursday night for an additional cost. Please see below for details.

Please note: While we are providing options in pricing and lodging types, we are NOT taking requests for specific buildings/locations/room numbers. We must work directly with the conference center to assign rooms. No exceptions!

Single Lodging (no roommate):

Option 1– Main Lodge ($600) – This is a hotel-style room in the main lodge. You will have your own room and bathroom.

Option 2– Cabin ($744) – You will have an entire cabin to yourself. The extra bedroom(s) will remain vacant.

Shared Lodging (1 or more roommates): We recommend prearranging your roommate(s) before you register. If you do this, please register first and THEN email with a list of the names of each person in your room/cabin. If you would like a roommate, but can’t find one, please email us and we will work to find a roommate for you. You will register according to your desired option, but we will contact you to pay the difference if you end up in a single room or a room with fewer roommates. If we are unable to arrange your roommate preference and you opt to cancel your registration, all cancellation rules will apply. (See the conference home page for details.)

Option 3– Shared Room/Main Lodge ($502) – You will share a hotel-style room and bathroom in the main lodge with one other person.

Option 4– Shared Cabin ($600) – You will stay in a 2-3 bedroom/1 bathroom cabin with 1-2 other attendees. Each person will have their own room.

Option 5– Shared Room/Shared Cabin ($502) – You will stay in a 2-3 bedroom cabin with a TOTAL of 3 people (in a 2 bedroom cabin) or 4-5 people (in a 3 bedroom cabin). In some cases, one person may end up with their own room. If this occurs, you must decide among yourselves who will have their own room. The region is unable to mitigate for this.
