Whether your traditional publisher has an audiobook of your story in the works, or you’re an indie author shepherding your book into audio format, get an inside look at audiobooks by tuning into this Nov. 10th webinar featuring two professionals offering perspectives on both sides of the audiobook fence.

Author Angelica R. Jackson will share insights on why you may want to produce your own audiobook (or may want to wait for an offer on your rights), and discuss the steps involved in the audio creation of her young adult, urban fantasy audiobook series. Producer/narrator Brenda Scott Wlazlo will give her perspective on production and meeting the author’s and audiobook distributor’s requirements, how to choose a producer/narrator, and what skills to look for in voice actors so they can bring your characters alive.

Key Learnings will include:

·         Things to consider for audiobook distribution and costs

·         How auditions work

·         Hiring and vocals: Finding the match for your story’s character and style

·         Things you can do to help your producer deliver the best product, and how your producer can help you prepare for the audiobook process

·         File and equipment specs for audiobook recordings

And more!
