Conference Format:
Everything will be hosted on Zoom. Recordings will be available 24-48 hours after each live session and available for six weeks after the date of the live session. For the best experience make sure you have the latest version of Zoom before the event. Download the latest version here: https://zoom.us/download
Please Note: Although not common, technical issues and circumstances beyond our control could affect recording quality. It is always best to attend sessions live and although we wish we could, we cannot help everyone with their individual technical issues during the events.
A Note About Zoom Links: Links for each session will be emailed prior to the live event. If you haven’t received your link(s) by the Friday evening before the session, please check your spam folder first and then email canorthcentral@scbwi.org to let us know. We will most likely be unable to help on the day of the sessions because we’re all working with faculty live on Zoom, so make sure to let us know before Saturday. Your recording links will be emailed no later than 48 hours after each session.
Cost:
SCBWI Member: $40 flat fee
Non-member: $60 flat fee
Critiques (members only): $50 each
Critiques:
Written Manuscript Critiques are available to SCBWI members only for a $50 additional fee, paid at the time of registration. This is a lower fee than almost all other conferences, and we highly encourage participation. Critiques will be first-come-first-serve. Submissions will be due no later than 9:00AM on May 14th. Payments:
We are unable to accept payments by mail this year. When you complete your registration you will be given the option to pay by PayPal or credit card. If you do not have either one, you can set up a Paypal account for free. CANCELLATION POLICY:
Due to this being a virtual conference and all panels being available for rewatch for six weeks after the live event, and in an effort to keep costs for attendees as low as possible, there will be no refunds for this event. Thank you.
